Gorgeous sunny weather and a need to get out of the clinic prompted a beach trip to the Bering Sea during our medical team's stay in Hooper Bay, Alaska. The clinic is situated less than a mile from the ocean. If you've ever watched the tv show The Deadliest Catch.....this is that ocean.

It was a different kind of 'beach day' than we are accustomed to in North Carolina.....but quite amazing in it's own way.
